Got a little LEGO aficionado at home? Bring 'em to the Hemming Village Lobby as part of our Christmas Lights and Holiday Nights event on Saturday evening from 5:30-8:30! Kids 12 and under will be able to build a LEGO masterpiece and enter it into a contest to win their very own LEGO set! This annual event, sponsored by the Rexburg Kiwanis Club, is a big hit every year! We're so excited to see what they create this year!

Santa may have made his way up 5th Avenue in New York City today, but he'll be here soon! Santa arrives in Porter Park at 5:15 pm on Saturday and you won't want to miss it! Get those cameras ready and join us for a ho-ho-holiday fun time!

Please avoid this exit if at all possible. We’re working to get temporary solutions in place and will update here as more of an outlook is known. 🚨

Monday, November 11th is Veterans' Day. We want to express our gratitude to all those who have served or are currently enlisted. Thank you for your service! If you know a local veteran, please feel free to recognize them here in the comments. In their honor, City Hall and our affiliated offices will be closed on the 11th. Trash normally picked up on Monday will be picked up on Tuesday this week. Emergency services will remain in operation as usual. We also want to remind you that Monday is the last scheduled last day of Fall Cleanup! Mother Nature is being generous with her extended time to get our lawns prepped for winter this year. Are you ready to ride the backroads and dust off your cowboy (cowgirl?) boots? We're inviting musicians, singers, and bands of all ages and skill levels to audition with your favorite country classics, bluegrass tunes, and Americana hits. From Willie to Waylon, Dolly to Garth, and everything in between, we're looking for performances that capture the spirit of country music's rich heritage. The concert performance date is Saturday, October 12th, 2024 at the Tabernacle! Submissions are due by September 16th. The video should be an mp4 file, no longer than 3 minutes. You can upload up to 3 songs in total. *By submitting your files, you agree that the content you have shared is an accurate representation of the performance you will display at our event and that the content is your own and legally acceptable for this purpose. On Monday, September 2nd, 2024, City Hall and our affiliated external offices will be closed in honor of Labor Day. Trash pickup normally scheduled on Monday will be picked up on Tuesday. Emergency operations will remain in place as usual. Did you know that the City of Rexburg has employees in nearly 75 various career fields across our 18 individual departments that are filled by over 500 employees currently working for us...and you?!
